Introduction to Hand Tools

delve into the fundamentals of craftmanship, focusing on the mastery of hand planes, chisels, hand saws, and various hand tool woodworking techniques.

Cutting Boards
Taught by Joe Merrey

In this two-part class, participants will make their own cutting boards and learn about different species of woods to use for food safe projects, how to join pieces of wood together, and different oils for sealing them.

Using only a hand saw, chisel, and hand full of marking tools, learn how to make the beautiful and strong dovetail joint without machinery.
