Retreats, Trainings, Art Parties and Gatherings

Built in 1742, Manor Mill is an historic landmark starting a new life as a fully renovated creativity center, filled with art, classes, music, yoga, workshops and more. The open floor plan combined with large indoor and outdoor meeting spaces make it perfect for corporate retreats, off-site meetings, and training programs.

And if you’re looking for a new way to celebrate an important milestone, the Mill can host parties that combine creativity and art, providing unique opportunities to bring your friends together.

Take a virtual tour, or swing by anytime Wednesday-Sunday, 12:00-6:00 PM when we’re open to the public.

Spending time with your colleagues in a unique place like Manor Mill is just the beginning. The Mill has regular yoga, art classes, ceramics, woodworking and much more as a regular offering, but has a built-in network of over 100 teachers in nearly every discipline to run a class that makes sense for your group. Photography, basket weaving, mushroom cultivation, home brewing – you name it!

Overnight Guests

Have out-of-town participants?  No problem. Right next to the Mill is The Miller’s House, a fully restored 1820s residence which can be rented for short-term stays and can sleep up to six people. Additionally, The Fishing Lodge at The Monkton Hotel nearby and under the same ownership, has a fully-renovated apartment available to rent for overnight stays.

Beyond The Mill

Within a .25 mile is the NCR trail, one of the best rail trails on the East Coast that runs over 20 miles to the Pennsylvania border and is perfect for walks, runs and bike rides. Monkton Bike and Tube rents bikes and tubes for a peaceful ride down the Gunpowder. Beautiful, scenic drives will take you to farm breweries, casual and high-end dining, a nationally recognized topiary garden, and more. We can help you organize your day.
