SINGING IN THE ROUND WITH RITA BAKER-SCHMIDT
Saturday, December 21, 2-3PM
There is nothing like singing in a group to make you feel great.
Group singing is a fantastic way to build community, confidence and communication skills.
By taking traditional folk songs with simple melodies and singing them in 2 or 3 part rounds we will all learn the melody and then stagger the start time to create beautiful harmonies.
All you need to have for this class is a love of singing and an open heart. Participants don’t need to be a professional singer, and will not need to know how to read music, but are encouraged to bring a device to record the
songs for practice at home.
