Paul Moscatt

 
 

Paul Moscatt was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is a veteran of the Korean War serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He received his training at the Cooper Union Art School in New York City and received a BFA and MFA at the Yale University School of Art. He retired from the Maryland Institute College of Art as Professor Emeritus, was Chair of the Painting Department. He has also taught at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. He continues to paint and teach privately in his Station North studio.

Paul Moscatt is a figure and portrait painter who has exhibited nationally and in local galleries and institutions in solo and group exhibitions.
