Intro to Dovetail Joinery
Wed 7/17 @ 6pm
Learn how to cut dovetails by hand. In this class we will learn one of the most essential and daunting furniture joints- the dovetail. Using only a hand saw, chisel, and hand full of marking tools, learn how to make the beautiful and strong dovetail joint without machinery.
Basket Weaving: Marilla’s Treasure with Bey-Her Baskets

The basket features a solid base, with a unique embellishment that adds a stylish design. The wrought iron handles finish it for a rich look. Students will learn basic weaving techniques that are used in many basket styles.
Join us for a sing-along with traditional and original music with Pat Hundley! If you and your kiddos like songs, music, tricks and stunts- this is perfect for you! Pat taught kindergarten and pre-k in Baltimore County for 34 years!
This is an intermediate level class for those who have learned how to create their own handle, candlestick, or bud vase. Jim Prinkey will be teaching the intricacies of how to turn a mini bowl! (1 spot left!)
Cut Magazine Collage Class w/Exhibiting Artist Ilene Gold

Experience the fun of creating your own cut paper collage! All of the art materials will be provided, from magazines to paper, scissors and glue. No artistic experience required. Open to All Ages.
Come experience the joy of stained glass art and leave with your very own stained glass sun catcher. Explore the colors and textures of stained glass, learn design rules, and experience every step of the stained glass process from start to finish.
We will start with a quick check in on what you are working on, or any upcoming writer events to highlight — and then it is heads-down writing for an hour, before we wrap-up with some q&a about any hurdles or blockers you may want input on. Come join your fellow writers, as we all commit to an evening dedicated to The Work.
Kid’s Ceramics: Magical Creatures in Clay with Emma Plunkert

Let your child experience the wonderful world of clay! Spend 3 days making magical creatures from start to finish. Ages 5-12 are welcome. Parents or guardians must remain onsite for duration of the class.
