Beginner Woodworking: Build a Planter

Wouldn't it be cool to show off your plants in a planter that you've made yourself? Get comfortable with a miter saw in this class and learn a new skill!
For those who have learned how to create their own handle, candlestick, or bud vase. Jim Prinkey will be teaching the intricacies of how to turn a pen!
You will be given the opportunity to use the skills you’ve learned in beginner turning class but with a little more depth in using a lathe to make mini bowls!
In this make-and-take class will allow you to create your very own metal dragonfly out of common kitchen utensils. Topics covered include Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, safety, equipment, processes, and basic metallurgical properties.
Sun 9/29 @ 9am In this make-and-take class, you’ll create your very own metal bird out of common kitchen utensils. Topics covered include the basics of Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, safety, equipment, processes, and basic metallurgical properties.
In this class, you and a child learn the fundamentals and safety associated with MIG welding, practice welding, and take home a welded bird sculpture that you collaboratively make using old silverware. Age 10 and up.
Intermediate Welding: Create your own Project - By Appointment Only
For those who have taken the intro welding class and ready for the next step! Bring your own vision and materials to weld something of your design. Maybe you have an old iron patio chair that you want to repair. Perhaps you have some scrap steel to convert into a garden sculpture to accompany your bird or dragonfly!
